Once again, the fine folks at MGM Resorts have opened the pages of their quarterly in-resort publication, M Life, to my hack writing.
"Las Vegas Rules" follows the lives of four intelligent, strong, independent women in Las Vegas, including a small business owner, a nightlife journalist, a community organizer and a multimedia maven.
It's been a while since I last had something published in Desert Companion, but here's my latest: A look at Water Street's home for caffeine and culture, The Coffee House.
2012 wasn't as bad as it seemed, but 2013 is going to be a hell of a lot more interesting, if not better.
Join me on Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. for the official reception for the "Lust in the Dust" original art exhibit, where you can buy the book, meet the artists, and maybe take home some of the original art.
This is the fourth year I'll be appearing at the annual Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival, happening this Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clark County Library. I'll be multitasking a little more than usual.
"Seduction of the Innocent" is coming back, this time to Alternate Reality Comics, opening with a benefit for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund this Friday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. to kick off the week leading up to the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival.
